It's complicated.

This site is intended to provide a quick reference point for information to help individuals active in the food system. It is a snapshot of the primary opportunities and challenges facing one of the most important systems we have.

Content Creators

This resource is maintained by 3Keel LLP, specialists in natural resource management, impact and opportunity analysis, and sustainable business practices.

The content on this site supplements the material covered in 3Keel’s Food Systems Thinking course. We developed this resource in response to a growing urgency for pragmatic clarity on the challenges and opportunities we have facing us. Whether individuals are working within food businesses, policy making bodies or non-profits, it is necessary that we understand our role in the system and how it affects other parts. This resource presents just a snap shot of the material needed to understand the system. In making this resource available to the public we hope that the salient issues will be more accessible to a wider range of individuals, teams, and organisations.
